SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

TOUR – On-Demand Taxi Application

At TOUR, your safety is our highest priority. Budastoor Motors W.L.L. is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful transportation experience for all users and drivers using the TOUR Platform.

These Safety Instructions apply to all passengers, drivers, and users of the TOUR Platform and Services.

1. BEFORE STARTING YOUR TRIP

Verify Driver & Vehicle Details

Before entering the vehicle, always confirm:

  • Driver name
  • Driver photograph
  • Vehicle make and model
  • Vehicle plate number

The information displayed in the TOUR app must match the actual vehicle and driver.

Do not enter a vehicle if the details do not match.

Confirm Your Destination

Before starting the trip:

  • Verify the pickup location;
  • Confirm the destination with the driver;
  • Ensure the route shown in the app is accurate.

Share Your Trip Details

For added safety, users are encouraged to share trip details with family members or trusted contacts whenever possible.

2. DURING THE TRIP

Always Wear Your Seat Belt

Passengers must wear seat belts at all times in accordance with Kuwait traffic laws.

Children must be accompanied and seated safely according to applicable regulations.

Respect Driver & Passenger Safety

Users must:

  • Treat drivers respectfully;
  • Avoid loud, aggressive, or threatening behaviour;
  • Avoid distracting the driver while driving;
  • Follow all lawful safety instructions given by the driver.

Drivers may terminate a trip if passenger behaviour threatens safety.

Do Not Carry Prohibited Items

The following are strictly prohibited inside TOUR vehicles:

  • Illegal drugs or narcotics;
  • Weapons or explosives;
  • Flammable or hazardous materials;
  • Alcohol or prohibited substances in violation of Kuwaiti law;
  • Stolen goods or contraband.

Violations may result in immediate cancellation, account suspension, reporting to authorities, and legal action.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking, vaping, or use of electronic cigarettes inside the vehicle is prohibited unless specifically permitted by law and the driver.

Follow Passenger Capacity Rules

Passengers must not exceed the legally permitted seating capacity of the vehicle.

Drivers reserve the right to refuse service in case of overcapacity.

3. DRIVER SAFETY STANDARDS

TOUR expects all drivers using the Platform to:

  • Hold valid driving licenses and required permits;
  • Follow Kuwait traffic laws and regulations;
  • Drive responsibly and safely;
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness;
  • Avoid distracted or reckless driving;
  • Treat passengers professionally and respectfully.

Budastoor Motors reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove drivers violating safety standards.

4. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

In Case of Emergency

If you feel unsafe during a trip:

  1. Contact local emergency services immediately if necessary;
  2. Move to a safe location where possible;
  3. Contact TOUR customer support through the app or official support channels.

For emergencies in Kuwait, contact:

  • Police / Emergency Services: 112

Report Safety Incidents

Users are encouraged to report:

  • Unsafe driving;
  • Harassment or misconduct;
  • Vehicle safety concerns;
  • Fraudulent activity;
  • Accidents or disputes.

Budastoor Motors takes safety reports seriously and may investigate incidents where necessary.

5. LOST & FOUND ITEMS

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.

Before leaving the vehicle, ensure you have all personal items including:

  • Mobile phones;
  • Wallets;
  • Bags;
  • Passports or identification;
  • Electronics.

Budastoor Motors is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings; however, reasonable efforts may be made to assist in recovering lost items.

6. HEALTH & HYGIENE

To maintain a safe and comfortable environment:

  • Maintain proper hygiene during trips;
  • Avoid traveling while carrying contagious health risks where prohibited by law;
  • Dispose of waste responsibly;
  • Respect cleanliness of the vehicle.

Additional cleaning charges may apply for excessive mess or damage.

7. ACCOUNT SECURITY

Users should:

  • Keep login credentials confidential;
  • Avoid sharing OTPs or passwords;
  • Use only the official TOUR application and communication channels.

Budastoor Motors will never request sensitive passwords through calls or messages.

8. FRAUD & IMPERSONATION WARNING

For your protection:

  • Never accept rides outside the TOUR Platform;
  • Avoid direct cash arrangements not reflected in the app;
  • Do not share personal financial information with drivers or third parties.

Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately.

9. GPS & LOCATION SERVICES

For operational and safety purposes, TOUR may use GPS and location services during active trips to:

  • Improve route tracking;
  • Enhance emergency response;
  • Verify trip activity;
  • Improve driver-passenger coordination.

By using the Platform, users consent to such location usage as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. SAFETY COMPLIANCE

Failure to comply with these Safety Instructions may result in:

  • Trip cancellation;
  • Temporary suspension;
  • Permanent account termination;
  • Reporting to law enforcement authorities where applicable.

Budastoor Motors reserves the right to take any action reasonably necessary to protect users, drivers, vehicles, and the Platform.

11. DISCLAIMER

While Budastoor Motors strives to maintain high safety standards, users acknowledge that transportation services involve inherent risks.

Users are expected to exercise reasonable judgment and personal responsibility while using the TOUR Platform and Services.
